"Get out! Everybody, get out!" Dr. Rose McKay practically had steam coming from her ears. She felt her face grow hot and her fingers curl into fists. How the hell was she supposed to work in an efficient manor with all of these incompetent people surrounding her? She glared at the team of scientists until the last one scurried from the room.

She rolled her eyes as she cleared their mess and went to work. She didn't have time for this. She had a million other things to do around Atlantis, but it seemed she was the only one who could do anything right.

"You seem to be in a state, love." Rose had been so involved in her work she hadn't heard Carson walk in behind her. She tried unsuccessfully to ignore the butterflies in her stomach.

"Not now. I don't have the time." She grit her teeth as she tried to force pieces of the project back together.

She felt warm hands rub her arms. "You know you don't have to do everything by yourself."

Rose set down the pieces and whirled around to face him. His big blue eyes nearly made her forget what she was about to say. She regained her composure.

"No one else can do anything right," she spat.

"Have you let them try?"

Rose opened and closed her mouth. "Well...they had a few minutes before I got here."

Carson smiled. "We all know you're Superwoman, Rose, but I think it's time you took a break."

Rose turned back to the project. "I don't have time for a break. We don't know what this thing does yet."

Carson spun her into his arms and lifted her off her feet. "Oh, I think you've got time for a break. Everyone will be all right without you for a while."

"You suck, you know that." She hated when he did this. Okay, maybe she liked it a little.

"So you tell me every day, dear." With that, Carson carried Rose away from the lab, much to the relief of the other scientists.
